很多人都說捷隕早挖沒了;現在的捷克隕石都不是捷克的;還有人說現在的捷克隕石都是泛捷克隕石，不是捷克的，而是捷克周邊國家的。還有人說真正的捷克隕石很難找到，基本都是泛捷克隕石。
種種論點，無所不有。基本都屬於臆測。
根據捷克人告訴我的一些信息，我總結下目前捷克隕石的處境。
目前捷克還有礦區在開採，以及很多私挖現象。
Besednice地區礦點關閉，目前有私挖。
chlum地區東部還在大範圍機械開採，已經挖到了地下八米深。
其它地區大型礦點由於破壞生態環境，當地居民反對的非常厲害。
私挖現象也很嚴重，當地政府正加大懲處力度，一旦抓獲私挖人，捷隕沒收並處相當巨額罰款，但是依然堵不住私挖者的腳步。
私挖一般都是夜晚進行，三三兩兩或單獨挖，也有大膽者動用挖掘機械，經常有居民發現晚上森林還很好，早上醒來發現樹木被砍伐很多，地面被大型機械挖掘過。
這基本上就是捷隕目前的處境，不是沒有了，而且有礦點在開採與私挖。
下面是老外告訴我的一些Besednice地區捷隕的信息。
I also wanted to tell you some news from around Besednice. The digging moldavite place, huge one got completely closed down now. The police and the government have stopped the digging jobs and now the digging people have to find a new place to dig. You know, for them it is their everyday job, they digg all day to find few stones. The moldavites will completely dissapear in next 5-10 years. So there might be some delays in the moldavite business with us. We had many digging people coming to us but now I think it may be a bit limited as they dont know where to digg.
